COB Subrogation Specialist (Remote Position)
Benefits: Candidates on temporary assignment may qualify for our competitive benefits package which includes group health, life and disability insurance and voluntary benefits such as retirement savings and holiday pay. Salary range: $20.66 to $23.93 hourly

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a COB Subrogation Specialist in the insurance industry, located in Springfield, Massachusetts. This role involves investigating potential COB, Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, third-party, and worker's compensation cases to pursue recovery opportunities. You will create and manage Liability and Recovery records, contact health and auto insurers, and provide support to expedite the claims process.

Responsibilities:
• Investigate potential COB, Medicare, Medicaid, MVA, third-party, and worker's compensation cases
• Create and manage Liability and Recovery records in our core system
• Initiate COB, Medicare, and Medicaid claim process rules
• Contact health and auto insurers to coordinate benefits
• Expedite the claims process to decrease claims expenses
• Provide support to identify subrogation files in a timely manner
• Research claim records to identify claim overpayments
• Generate monthly reports to manage our internal COB process
• Use your skills in Claims Processing, Insurance Claims, Typing Data Entry, Customer Service, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Subrogation, and Administrative Assistance to ensure efficiency and accuracy in your work.


Requirements

• Proficient in Claims Processing and Insurance Claims management
• Demonstrable experience in Typing Data Entry with a high level of accuracy
• Exceptional Customer Service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with Subrogation processes in the insurance industry
• Prior experience in Administrative Assistance roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Demonstrates problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
• Experience in the Insurance industry is preferred.
