Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Software Engineer based in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. As part of our telecom provider team, you will be tasked with enhancing our systems, providing necessary architectural changes, and delivering support. You will also be expected to work independently, solve technical problems, and assist in technical audits. This role also involves working in an Agile/ITIL SDLC environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work independently to understand and improve existing systems
• Propose architectural changes and improvements as required
• Enhance functionality and provide support to our systems
• Perform problem analysis and propose solutions to technical problems
• Participate in Agile/ITIL SDLC environment activities
• Conduct inspections and post implementation reviews as required
• Create detailed technical designs documents
• Develop and test code as per the requirements
• Lead in the design, development, and implementation of applications
• Assist in the integration, production support, and continuous enhancement of applications
• Implement audit recommendations when needed

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in database management and design.
• Proficiency in EO/IR systems.
• Familiarity with GitHub and its practical applications.
• Experience with Hibernate ORM.
• Knowledge of AB testing and its implementation in software development.
• Expertise in API development.
• Proficiency in ASP.NET.
• Strong skills in design and framework.
• Extensive experience with JavaScript.
• Proficiency in HTML5.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• Proven track record of successful project delivery.
