Robert Half Technology is partnering with an award-winning, nationally recognized company known for its status as a "Best Place to Work", looking to add an exceptional AWS Architect to their team. The successful candidate can look forward to a comprehensive benefits package and flexible work schedule as this role is remote, with some on-site time periodically required in St. Paul, MN.

About the Role:

As an AWS Architect, you'll work with a diverse team of technologists to design, develop and optimize innovative cloud solutions in a AWS environment. You'll be responsible for designing technologically advanced and scalable systems that are secure, efficient, and tailored to support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement highly scalable solutions on AWS
• Lead the integration of AWS architecture services into the company's infrastructure
• Build new API integrations and ensure the reliability and performance of systems
• Deliver reports on security vulnerabilities, system updates, and audit mitigation progress
• Work collaboratively with other technology professionals, enhancing data workflows and supporting business intelligence
• Maintain ongoing communication with internal customers, partners, and vendors to ensure AWS infrastructure consistently meets company needs and expectations
• Provide technical leadership, counsel, and training to junior team members to increase overall team competency in cloud technologies and best practices.
• Evaluate and propose innovative new cloud technologies or tools that can enhance or improve the current systems, and lead the execution of implementation of these technologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective big data architecture
• 5+ years’ experience in software development, data engineering, or data analytics
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform, lambda, and SQL programming languages
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, OAuth2 authorization, and security best practices for API gateways
• Advanced technical certifications (AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, etc.) are a plus
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Big Data, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience
