Description

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Washington, District of Columbia. This role involves significant interaction with customers, particularly those on the housing waitlist or interested in applying for the waitlist. As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to perform clerical and administrative tasks while ensuring the accuracy of our company database.

Responsibilities:
• Engage with customers who are on the housing waitlist or are interested in applying, ensuring their queries are adequately addressed.
• Collect, scan, and file physical documents in an organized manner.
• Regularly update the company database, ensuring the information is accurate and up-to-date.
• Perform various clerical and administrative duties as required.
• Use Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data entry and other tasks.
• Handle inbound calls, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Requirements

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls, demonstrating excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Strong customer service skills, with a proven ability to handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
• Experience in data entry, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas and generate reports.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, including the ability to create and edit documents, format text and insert graphics.
