Description We are in search of a Project Manager to join our team in Washington, District of Columbia. The focus of this role lies within the realm of project management, specifically in product delivery, technical capacity, and leadership. As a Project Manager, you will be the primary overseer of project delivery, from planning to release and operations. This role is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete spectrum of project activities throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). • Act as a project management consultant, providing technical leadership and innovative solutions to both internal and external clients. • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities. • Manage project vendors to ensure timely delivery of tasks within the agreed budget and scope. • Define and manage project vision, strategy, tasks, scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks. • Prioritize, improvise, and adapt technologies to address evolving business needs and issues. • Proactively lead and empower project team members to innovatively deliver products. • Align the project with the overall IT enterprise architecture vision and goals. • Proactively manage project team members, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and management expectations. • Solve project issues promptly and effectively. • Lead software market research including Request for Information/Proposal (RFI/RFP) development, cost-benefit analysis, and selection process. • Take a leadership role in advancing project management and process improvement best practices and tools. • Ensure appropriate parties are involved and engaged to achieve project goals. • Provide periodic communications to project sponsors, stakeholders, and management. • Contribute to organizational process improvement initiatives.
Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required. • Must have a robust understanding of Cisco Technologies. • Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is required. • Prior experience with CRM is necessary. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed. • Proficiency in About Time software is required. • Must have experience in AB Testing. • Solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodology is needed. • Experience in Budget Processes is necessary. • Must possess strong skills in Change Management.
