Position Summary:  

We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer to join our team.  The new team member will be essential in the design, implementation, and management of internal and customer-facing Azure workloads. The Azure Systems Engineer will work with our Data Analytics team to ensure appropriate and adequate resources are provisioned, support emerging infrastructure models, and perform key roles in our implementation strategies. They must be self-directed, comfortable with meeting the needs of multiple teams and enjoy creating and managing reliable and repeatable infrastructure models. The right candidate will be excited to take on the challenge of optimizing or even re-designing our company’s cloud system architecture to support the next generation of products and engineering initiatives.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

·      Expert in Azure Cloud

·      Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Azure Administrator or Azure Security are a plus

·      In-depth understanding of VNET, VM, Private Endpoint, Azure Storage, VPN, Azure Monitoring, SIEM tooling, Azure Identity, Azure Kubernetes is required

·      Knowledge of Confidential Computing is a plus

·      Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager templates

·      Proficient with scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python)

·      Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues within Azure infractructure

·      Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines

·      Familiarity with Azure Lighthouse and service management as a service

·      Proficiency with cloud security best practices and implementation techniques

·      ITIL Foundations experience

·      Working with governance and compliance auditing
