Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Manager in Washington, District of Columbia. As an Administrative Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the school's administrative activities, ensuring efficient operation and productivity. The wide-ranging responsibilities involve coordinating logistics, managing inventory, scheduling, and supporting the school head in their various needs.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise the school’s transportation program, which involves overseeing the bus drivers and coordinating arrival and dismissal procedures.
• Assist the school head with their calendar management, including scheduling detail oriented meetings and responding to emails as required.
• Take up special projects assigned by the school head, ensuring their needs are proactively anticipated to facilitate their productivity.
• Manage the inventory and order supplies for the North campus, ensuring there is no excess ordering and reconciling associated credit card statements.
• Supervise and train the North Campus receptionist, offering guidance for growth, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring clarity of priorities.
• Coordinate and organize field trips with classroom teachers, communicating with the principal, the Director of HR, bus drivers, and others as needed.
• Handle student dismissal queries and oversee the daily communication for transportation, using the BusWhere software for bus tracking.
• Support other school administrative needs, fostering a solutions and team-oriented culture by offering collegial support and anticipating colleagues’ needs.
• Cover various duties such as lunch, recess, arrival, or dismissal when required and sit at the front desk as needed.
• Coordinate scheduling for school and staff photo days and work collegially with administrators, teachers, and staff to perform specific duties for school operation.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with Concur software • Experience in Answering Inbound Calls • Ability to Coordinate Logistics • Knowledge of Blackbaud and Raiser's Edge software • Expertise in Calendar Management • Experience in Meeting Coordination • Skill in Ordering and Maintaining Office Supplies • Proficiency in Email Correspondence • Ability to Coordinate Travel Arrangements
